More from the tithing story!

Okay this is an addition to my story about tithing. For myself it was a great ending! I helped to gain a stronger testimony of the gospel! My acquaintance from work gave a booklet about tithing and others beliefs about tithing. I started to read it and I was bored with it because there wasn't the spirit of happiness but rather the spirit of anger in it. At least that's what I felt. So I started to just skim through it and saw a sentence in there that there isn't any new revelation past the old testament. When I read that sentence, a thought popped in my head! It was amazing because, I know that there is both revelation from the Book of Mormon that is similar to what Malachi said about tithing, also the modern revelation for, the prophets and apostles. As sad as I feel for those who believe that there isn't any modern revelation, I was so happy to be reminded through the spirit, that we have the true gospel on the earth. I am so grateful that I am a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that there is a prophet of God on the earth today and that we have additional revelation for our time.
