Pictures with Meg, Heath and the Kids.
This was the Saturday in Utah. I spent the day hanging out with Meg and her family. I loved playing with the kids and got some great pictures. We went out to eat and Kylee did not want to sit next to me, but Kaleb did. He was even eating off of my plate. So Cute! When it was time to go, Kylee asked me when am I going to come out to her house, and I got hugs and kisses from all 3 of the kids. I miss them! So cute!
Trip to Vegas!
One week we decided to take a trip to Utah but in the process we decided to stay in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Circus Circus. As we arrived we were excited to get out and experience the strip. The 3 of us, Ashley, Candice and I, set out on foot. We happened to stop on teh sidewalk decided where to begin and a taxi pulled up. Thoughts ran through our heads, why not? We got in, and shortly arrived at The Mirage Hotel. When we walked in we saw a beautiful garden and had the choice of going right or left. If we went left we had the opportunity to play a game of chance and if we went right we would head into the lobby of the hotel. We wanted some excitement! The choice was made and left it was. We headed off into the Casino. I had no clue of what I was even supposed to do. I watched Candice for a minute and then got onto the slot machine. I put in $20. I began playing. I won that first time. I kept playing. The amount kept getting bigger. So I moved to a new machine. There I played another game. The prize kept getting larger and larger until I reached $160. WOW! What a thrill. I thought I better stop playing and cashed out. Candice and Ashley were playing but didn't have as much luck as I did unfortunately. We then walked around the hotel to explore but found that the shops were closed. It was then decided that we would leave and walk the strip. As we were walking we saw the many different casinos and enjoyes taking pictures. When we got to the Bellagio, I feel the desire to play the machines again. As I did, I felt the thrill again of winning. I made it to the point of another $160! AMAZING!!! But then I felt like I was able to continue, so I did. I started to loosing that $160 I just made. It got to only $60. That was the end. I had to cash out and I did. I got up, cashed out and finished walking through the hotel. After we left the hotel, we started heading back to our hotel. We had a long walk ahead of us. It was getting late but we kept going and going and going and going and going. I think it was about 3:30 and we could see the hotel we were staying at but it wasn't quite there yet. So we kept going like the energizer bunny. Then it was right there! We finally made it. I don't think I was more happy to see a hotel as I was then. My feet were in pain and filthy since I was wearing my flip flops! Yikes. We were tired. The next morning we woke early and made ready to leave, bought some souvenirs and headed to Utah. We made it to about Cedar City and it began snowing. We took pictures and made it to Utah. What an experience!

Catching the Boquet!

I thought this was interesting. I went to a friends wedding reception and as we got there, they were throwing the boquet. My friend and I decided we weren't going to go up there unless we were called out. Next thing we knew, the Bride was calling out our names, so we had to go up there. As we stood, I felt "singled" out. There were only a couple of little girls and some that were possibly in HS. So the Bride threw it. It just so happened to land in my hands as I held them out. Lucky me! Had my picture taken with the bride. The next day at church, I mentioned it to one of the branch presidency's wives and she decided to tell it as a good news moment. So I was yet again embarrassed! I thought the boquet was very pretty!

Happy Birthday Jamie!
This past week was my birthday week! CRAZY!! Wednesday was my birthday and had a great day. Mom, Mere and I went to lunch. Friend from the neighboring business at work, brought me a birthday cake. It was great! Then for dinner, Dad and I went to Red, White and Brew! very nice restaurant. I go the dinner that mom always tells us about. It was good, but I was full! So I brought the rest of the dinner home to Mom! Then the fam, sang to me and we had cake and ice cream. A few of my friends came over. We enjoyed playing Apples to Apples and that was the day of my birthday!
Saturday came around and Mere and I went and got a pedicure. It was great! Later in the evening we had a party with alot of friends that I've made here in AZ and a few from UT that have moved here too! These are the pictures. I unfortunately didn't get all of the people who came, I forgot about the camera 'til half way thru the night!

The New Year!
I just wanted to say that TIME FLYS! It is amazing at how fast the time has gone by this last year. I was thinking about it and I have done so many different things this last year! I started the past year with going to a wedding for my brother in Idaho. Then, later that year went to visit my sister and her family after she had a new baby. Not much later, went to my cousin's wedding, which followed by 2 more weddings later that month that I wanted to but wasn't able to attend. Then almost all the family came down to Arizona for Thanksgiving. After our small Christmas here in Mesa, Mom, Dad, Mere and Anders and I all drove up to Utah to finish the New Year, although Mere and I drove home the last day of the year. This past year has been a great yet busy one. I learned how to write HTML, and want to go to school so that I can create websites. So that's is my goal this year is to take the nessecary classes to get through at least a certification for web develpoment. What an amazing oppurtunity I have to do this. I am excited for the upcoming year and hope that I will be able to see many of you and have you involved in my life some how! Hope that you have a wonderful year and don't forget to keep in touch!

Christmas Season
I just love the Christmas Season! As you might know I have been one of the people in charge of Family Home Evening. I have really tried to make each one a fun and enjoyable time at FHE, especially for the Christmas Season. This last week I had chosen to go Christmas Caroling. I was so excited for the night to come. We were going to have a hay ride and give out cookies. We had it all planned, cookies made and the trailer borrowed, just ready to have fun! The night before it started raining and the weather forecast said that it is supposed to rain. I didn't want to have to put it off for a week. I decided that I would pray and ask Heavenly Father to not let it rain, or at least stop raining for the time that we would be outside on the hay ride and caroling! I had kept that prayer in my heart all day. Monday came and it started out gloomy. As the day progressed, it rained and then stopped, then rained some more. Then stopped. Around 3 or 4, the co-chairperson on the FHE committee had texted me and said that we needed to plan something else because it was raining. We had decided to come up with a backup plan, but I didn't loose hope! I kept that prayer in my heart and just hoped that it would stop raining for a little while.
I talked to one of the leaders, to tell him to prepare for the backup plan. A little while later he called me back and said that the doppler was showing that it would stop raining for a few hours. The few hours that we were going to be outside!
I said okay lets go ahead with it and if it rains then we have a backup plan.
So the time arrives and it's still kind of drizzling outside. We waited for all to show up at the activity, and by the time the trailer arrived, it had stopped raining. So we all jumped on the hay ride and sang our carols. Wouldn't you know, at the last house or on our way from the last house is when it started to sprinkle a little.
~AMAZING!~
Today, I saw that my Heavenly Father loves me. He answered my prayers! What an amazing feeling! We were out spreading the christmas cheer, inviting young adults to the branch and having a fun time!
